I think it was a fair test. But in the future, the course directors should emphasize that the test will not be based on individual lectures, rather the “big picture” of cardio. I think that’s the way all tests should be. I think I spent too much time thinking about the “5 questions per lecture” format that we’ve been used to.

Additionally, they should tell you not to waste $40 on the Lilly book – as you don’t need to read any of it to do well on the exam!!

I don’t understand. Are you really complaining that the test was too fair and that the questions were more broad based than you expected?
I’m chalking this up to pre-vacation insanity.

Is the “Pathology Image Review” (online assignment listed for Monday) just the powerpoint in the “Pathology Images” tab? Is there anything we need to submit?

looks like there is a path review in the LAMS section as well

I’m waiting to hear back from Dr. W about the path review, but I think it’s just the LAMS thing.

Our Sim Session is scheduled to be in the VA. Should we dress up/wear coats or will this be an informal meeting? Where do we go?
December 13, 2009 at 10:43 pm |
White coats are not required. It’s in VA simulation center, Floor 11 South at the VA.

Are we responsible for all of the material covered in the reading assignments for exam purposes?

Ali and I will be meeting with Dr. Skolnick on Monday and will ask for some direction then about what’s game for the exam.

Can the issue regarding lectures being broken up into 30 second-4 minute files be addressed? I know we have new course liaisons but this issue was also brought up but never addressed in the last module.

I will work on asking the AV guys about this, but not sure what can be done about this

When is the CV pathology conference for C & D? We all showed up today but it didn’t happen. I don’t see a correction on Alex.

I’ve e-mailed Dr. Skolnick about this scheduling problem. If he doesn’t make an announcement, I’ll send out an e-mail about it.

The lecture video for Treatments of CHF is marked as congenital heart disease II under itunes and the lecture video for congenital heart failure is not on itunes. Will the real congenital heart failure lecture be posted?
